In a world of animal books, children's stories and animal adventures, one mouse is about to learn the consequence of being too greedy. After a spectacular New Year's party, the family and friends of Tyler mouse hear about his love of strawberry jam - and the fact that he can't get any because nobody knows how to make it. Deciding to set out on a short and sweet adventure quest to track down a pot of his favourite treat. On the way he encounters his friend Freddy, an animal jam has never encountered. Sharing a common goal, they set out to raid the jam store of Franky farmer, renowned for his hoard of strawberry jam. But the crafty farmer has set a trap for the animal jam thieves, and Tyler's adventure quest comes to an abrupt end when Franky catches him in the act. Fast as they can, Tyler and Freddy escape to the safety of their family and friends, where vow to never again go on such dangerous animal adventures. Short and sweet, this tale of Gingers Wood is sure or a place among the classics of children's stories, and like other animal books, has a colourful array of characters that will entertain and enchant children and adults alike.

We received this book to give an honest review.

K and I sat and read this at bedtime and it was the perfect bedtime story for us. Tyler mouse likes strawberry jam but no one knows how to make it, so what does he do? Well he goes to the farmers house which has Tyler's favorite jam. Little does Tyler know what the farmer has to stop the vermin from taking his jam this is how Tyler earns his name no-tail. K wanted the pictures to be better so he could see more detail especially at the end where the farmer has his sign hung up. The lesson Tyler learns is that maybe you should wait a bit before going on just dangerous adventures as you never know what might occur.
I think children from ages 7 on up would enjoy this story it isn't long but it isn't too short either it is right in the middle there are a few illustrations but not many.
