Book Tour and Review: A Bad Sad Day For Mama Bear

A Bad Mad Sad Day for Mama Bear
By
Mayra Calvani

Book blurb:

Little Bear offers Mama Bear various items to make her feel better, but she’s too busy to notice—until he gives her his super, so good, so very special dolly. Silly humor, alliteration, repetition, and onomatopoeia make this a fun read-aloud story. A celebration of the special love shared between mother and child. For ages 3-7.

Available as ebook, softcover and hardcover.

We received this book to give an honest review as part of a blog tour.

This is one book that I want to own in paperback it was that good. When Mama Bear is having one of those days that all of us moms seem to have well Little bear tries to give her something to cheer her up. And it is the thought that counts that had me going awww how sweet.
I asked K what his favorite part was and he started to tell me one thing then goes the whole book. Which when I tried to find a favorite part it was hard but I did find it. It was the ending.
"There stood Little Bear, offering her his super, so good, so very special dolly.
"So what if breakfast burned, or I tipped honey-dripping carts, or I was harassed by the baboon troop." said Mama Bear. She gathered Little Bear in her arms and squeezed him very tight, celebrating the super, so good, so very special love they shared.

If you are having a bad day gather you little ones up for a super duper special hug it will make it all worth it in the end. It just goes to show that your kids can make your day so much better even if it started off bad.
